2. Complete the Application Form & Homestay Application Form (if applicable) and send to FCLI with the Registration Fee and Homestay Application Fee (if applicable). See Payment Methods below.

3. When we receive your applications we will send you an invoice for your fees. Send fees (tuition, materials and home placement package) to FCLI at least 30 days prior to the course start date. See Payment Methods below.
4. When we receive your full payment, we will issue you a Letter of Acceptance. We cannot issue the Letter of Acceptance without full payment.
5. If you require a Study Permit, take the letter of acceptance to the nearest Canadian embassy or Immigration Office. You MUST allow plenty of time to apply for the proper documentation. Please see the Visa Information section for more details.
6. Once your travel arrangements are finalized, send FCLI your arrival information including your arrival date, time, all flight numbers, and departure point. Your final destination should be Victoria, not Vancouver.
7. Before your arrival, FCLI will send you a host family profile. Your host family will meet you at the Victoria International Airport, Swartz Bay ferry terminal, or the Victoria Bus Terminal upon arrival. If your flight is delayed, please call your host family to notify them.
8. On your first day of school, please arrive at 8:45 am and bring your passport and Study Permit (if applicable) and 2 photographs. You should also bring a pencil or pen, and a lunch (or money to buy a lunch.)

Payments from abroad may be made by:

• International Money Order (Please send by registered mail.)
• Bank Draft (Please send by registered mail.)
• VISA or Mastercard (Please send us an email or fax with the VISA or Mastercard number, expiration date and the name printed on the card. There will be an additional 2.75% processing fee for all credit card transactions. We do not accept American Express.)
• Bank Wire (Please add a $10 service charge for bank wires. When sending a bank wire, please use both the Bank Transit Number and the Account Number.)

Cancellation / Refund Policy

Requirements

• A written notice of withdrawal is required to cancel a course.
• Refunds are made on Tuition Fees only.
• Registration and Homestay Placement Fees are non-refundable.

Refund Policy
(In accordance with the Private Post-Secondary Education Commission – PPSEC)

Cancellation before the course starts

• 30 days or more before the course starts: 75% refund of tuition fee
• less than 30 days before the course starts: 60% refund of tuition fee

Cancellation after the course has started

• within 10% of duration of the course: 50% refund of tuition fee
• within 30% of duration of the course: 30% refund of tuition fee
• after 30% of duration of the course: No Refund

Your First Day

On your first day of school, please arrive at Four Corners Language Institute at 8:45 am. Our school is located at the corner of Blanshard St. and Fort St. (#201-1111 Blanshard St.) Upon arrival you will receive a tour of our school, its facilities, and be introduced to our staff, teachers and students. Class begins at 9 am.

Current level placement is conducted through student request and a discussion to gage student level. We are currently in the process of creating an online test for students to take from home prior to arriving to FCLI. This way the student can be placed appropriately upon arrival.

Please bring your passport, two small photographs for your Student Identification card, a packed lunch (or money to buy lunch), and a pen.
